❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, and WebP. These are the most common web formats. For HEIC (iPhone photos), please use our dedicated HEIC converters first.

What's the difference between Percentage and Dimensions?

Percentage: Scales the image up or down by a percentage (e.g., 50% makes it half the size).
Dimensions: Sets exact width and height in pixels. Perfect for specific requirements like social media sizes.

Should I maintain aspect ratio?

Yes, for photos always keep it on to prevent stretching. Turn it off only when you intentionally want to change the shape (rare for photos, common for graphic design).

Will I lose quality when resizing?

Making smaller: Quality remains good. The image is simply scaled down.
Making larger: Quality may decrease as the software has to "guess" the new pixels. We recommend not enlarging beyond 200%.

Why did you remove HEIC support?

HEIC requires complex libraries and can fail unexpectedly. For reliability, we focus on JPG/PNG/WebP. Use our HEIC to JPG/PNG converters first, then resize.

Is there a file size limit?

We recommend up to 10 images and total size under 100MB. Very large images (like 20MB+ each) may process slowly depending on your device.

Are my images safe?

100% private – all processing happens in your browser. Your images never leave your device. No uploads, no servers, no data collection.
